Lenten Recipes

Today is Septuagesima Sunday and I am home sick from Mass. Today begins the pre-lenten season and I received the following link from one of my Yahoo groups, the CHC Homeschool list, and thought it would be great to share. It looks like a great collection. Click here for the recipes.

I have a good friend who is from Mobile Alabama, who's mother (now Passed) had a killer recipie for "Gumbo", ie "Sea Food Gumbo". I plan on making 5 gallons and putting it up for lent. I will let you know how it goes.

Keep a look at my blog when you get a chance and when I get it done I will put up some pictures and the break down.

Crab meat, oysters, shrimp, bay scallops, crawdads, Onions, garlic, good olive oil, butter, and lots more....

Yuuuuummmmmm.

Im gettin hungry thinking of it.
